WRS are currently working with an established and busy Civil Engineering Contractor that requires an experienced SHEQ Professional to join the business at Group level and oversee the existing Dept.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the ideal role holder will have a strong multi-disciplinary Construction industry background with a proven successful track record of managing SHEQ departments.
The Client and Projects
This Company is an established Contractor based in the West Midlands. Their project portfolio covers a variety of disciplines within the Civil Engineering industry.
·Will be an experienced SHEQ professional with a track record in Civil Engineering and / or the Construction industry.
·Must have experience of SHEQ Compliance on Civil Engineering projects.
·Will have relevant Safety, Health, Environment and Quality qualifications and Chartered Membership will be preferred.
·Will be ready to come in and take the reins to direct the department's strategic vision.
·Will be experienced with reporting at Board and Stakeholder level.
Your key responsibilities will be
- To lead the SHEQ Division across all in house disciplines
- Maintain an established clear vision for SHEQ throughout the Company
- Develop Continuous Improvement within the SHEQ team
- Be the first point of contact for the board and stakeholders for SHEQ advice and guidance
- Ensure all sites meet SHEQ requirements for Company Standards and all Legislation.
The salary will be in the region of £60k which could be negotiable depending on relevant experience.
