WRS are working with a progressively growing Social New Build Housing Company who have asked us to work with them to appoint a Contracts Manager for their Yorkshire Region.

The Company
As a millennial Contractor who builds on behalf of their Social clients, they have built units across the entirety of the North of England. Continually looking at their business development in ways they can grow/progress and over achieve to deliver quality finished units to their social housing clients.
In the Yorkshire region they predominately produce units of 2 and 3 bed dwelling including apartments/flats/semi-detached and detached houses and they have an excellent reputation for building quality homes.

The Role
Reporting into the Operations Director, you will have the responsibility of running 3 new build sites in the Yorkshire area and report into the office in Leeds, so a daily commutable distance is a preference to our client.
We are looking for a hard-working individual who has experience managing multiple developments in different stages. You will need previous experience in a Contracts Manager role within the house building sector with a bias on Social Housing. Previous experience from inception through to completion is essential. As the vast majority of developments are Brownfield sites, any additional practical knowledge of groundworks / civils infrastructure is highly advantageous.
You will be required to chair meetings with the client on site and have daily client interaction, so extensive experience with clients is essential in addition to excellent customer service is. You will be required to manage the customers' expectations throughout the entire process, so strong communication and IT skills are essential.

Salary and Package
To the successful candidate our client would offer a salary of £50,000 to £55,000 (dependant on experience). Other benefits include:
