WRS have met with the Construction Director of this leading, bespoke luxury House Builder who have created a new role of Assistant Site Manger on a permanent basis for the North Yorkshire region.
This business has been established for over 25 years and has built a number of beautiful developments in North Yorkshire which typically include 3, 4 and 5 bedroom semi-detached and detached homes up to £450, 000 in value.
The Construction Director (a joiner by trade) has been with the business for several years and although from a PLC background has built the region from scratch. Their focus is away from high-volume housing, and they solely build high quality homes.
They typically have between 2 to 4 lives sites at any one time building around 100 houses a year over these developments (so average around 25 plots per site). These sites are in the Harrogate, Tadcaster, York, Thirsk and Wetherby areas.
Reporting into the Site Manager you will based in any of the North Yorkshire sites. You will be responsible for assisting the site team to manage the building project in accordance with agreed timescales, quality and cost ensuring plots are completed to a high-standard safely. Additionally you will gain excellent relationships with Sub-contractors, NHBC Inspectors, Safety Consultants and Clients.
- Will come from a Residential background and have 2 years and above as an Assistant Site Manager in the new build Housing
- Suitable candidates will have progressed from a time served trades background
- Hold a valid CSCS Card, SMSTS and First Aid
- Be a driven individual who is genuinely passionate about the construction industry and prides themselves on quality
- Have worked under NHBC standards and building regulations
A basic salary from £33, 000 - £36, 000 plus car or car allowance, mileage, pension scheme and performance bonus.
