I am looking to speak to people who have a vested interested in housebuilding and especially the lifecycle of a development - how things tick behind the scenes of a housing development and how you bring that together to make it work - from technical aspects, land developments, NHBC liaison, sub-contract involvment, site activities and Customer Care. As the Assistant Development Manager ideally you'll already have an idea of how these departments work, link together and react to one another to push forward the development of building a house. The builder I'm working with is a small firm producing under 50 units a year and everyone pulls together to make things happen and for this reason they require all within the business to be hands on and capable of identifying problems before they happen. Working in the development of these sites is pulling all the strings to make it happen - you don't have to be the finished article but if you have experience in a few of these areas get in touch with me.
The business itself has been running nearly 10 years but is fronted by Directors who have been at one of the top housebuilders in the country for many years. Their focus is on high-quality family homes with values from £300,000 and onwards and everyone in the business has a broad skillset. Even with such a small business they offer a generous package with a company wide bonus scheme and can complete in that sense although in another this is a 'lifestyle' role - you will be taking away the stress to focus on the quality.
