Are you an Electrical Design Engineer who has at least 3 years' experience within the Building Services design sector in consultancy or contracting?

As the demand for our expertise continues to grow, we now have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer to join one of our clients in Manchester.
We have partnered with an award winning long established M&E team in the heart of Manchester. They are going through a period of growth due to a merger with a large Multi-disciplinary consultancy and some impressive project wins. Our client's skills and expertise are now recognised by many as leading the field for low carbon sustainable design. They have been recognised by CIBSE recently by winning a number of awards. We are searching for an Electrical Design Engineer with a proven track record of supporting and delivering designs for a range of project types and sizes.
You will possess relevant electrical design qualifications and/or the equivalent industry experience-ideally a degree in Electrical Design, and should be a Chartered Engineer or possess the desire to become Chartered by CIBSE or IET.
These services include heating, lighting, power and supply, lifts and escalators, health and safety, acoustics and security.
Experience and Qualifications:
• 3 years minimum experience within a similar role running projects from conception through to completion including calculations, drawings, specifications, etc
• Experience in lighting design, distribution design and designing to defined data centre tier ratings, and report writing is essential
• Accredited Building Services degree or higher educational qualification (HNC/HND)
• AutoCAD experience (experience with Revit would be an advantage)
