Skills and Qualifications:-
·Significant experience gained within an engineering consultancy
·Proven track record of project design ideally through concept to detailed
·Fully conversant with Microsoft office as well as experience in general electrical calculation software packages such as Amtech and dialux
·Working knowledge and understanding of British standards (UK experience necessary)
·Well practiced communication skills
·Confident and proactive approach to problem solving.
·Take an active role in pushing forward the skills and abilities of the electrical team members, including supervising junior engineers
·Lead building projects of various sizes, taking an active role in project leadership and client facing activity
·Take an active role in building services design elements for both small and major projects working closely with other team members
·Attend meetings and communicate with clients to establish their needs
·Offer consultancy advice and prepare design reports, specifications and drawings in a timely fashion and within budget
·Support graduate engineers with technical expertise and mentor less experienced team members
Share and expand knowledge through participation at relevant skills networks
Over recent years I have placed numerous engineers who have joined the company and loved it! They have an extremely low staff turnover and are a close knit bunch with regular social events including Squash Club and weekly 5-a-side football.
